Q: Bicycle accident premises shopping development; 4-inch drop on cement pathway where elsewhere similar pathways none
Sustained fractured ribs, concussion, etc.
Liability owed patrons of center?
A: It is possible that liability exists. Any of us would give you a free consultation. Take photos of the area, with close ups of the 4 inch drop, with a rule/tape measure in the photos for perspective.

More info is needed to properly evaluate your bicycle accident case. When did it happen?
What you are doing is the same as asking a doctor to diagnose your problem over the phone when you say I have a stomach ache, can you cure me and what will it cost?
However, it is always a good idea to contact a local attorney proximate to the court to which you would appear. You should also take pix of the drop and use something to measure, tape measure, biz card, and put paper next to it to show date.
In other words, I am in Palm Springs and you don’t want to hire a Palm Springs lawyer for an LA case.
Most DUI and PI lawyers will offer a free consultation to review the facts. Most other areas of law are handled on an hourly, and thus I always suggest a prospective client write out a detailed summary in a page or so. That way you are not paying a lawyer to play secretary.
Call a local attorney to discuss your matter in more detail and to request an appointment.

A: Find a lawyer right away who will give you a free consultation. Also.. as a previous answer suggested.. take pictures with a ruler clearly showing the 4" drop. Good luck
A:
I would need more details of the accident to give you an answer at this time. I would need to know:
Where (in what City) the accident occurred?
What part of the premises of the development were you on at the time of the accident?
Was there a painted yellow line just before the cement walkway where you fell off the bicycle?
Where you riding carefully when the accident happened?
Did you fill out a claim form after the accident; If so, who did you direct the claim to?
Do you have photos of the exact sport where you fell?
When did the accident happen?
Did you go to a Hospital or emergency room immediately after the accident?
Find a good lawyer to represent you.
Good Luck
