Q: Asylum merit hearing And married to US citizen .!

I’ve filled Asylum and I have merit hearing in 5 months . I have a weak asylum case it’s hard to get evidence from my country . Since I’m married to my Gf she is US citizen. In this scenario what should I do ? As I said I have court coming and most likely my interview for marriage will not happen that quick? What should I do will judge give me more time and put my case on hold since I’m Going through my marriage case ! I filled I-130 though. Please give me legal answer. Thanks
