Q: TEXAS - hot to calculate 30 days summer possession

Mother is entitled to summer possession to be exercised in no more than 2 separate periods. She has elected 2 separate periods and when I count the total number of days from start to end - it is 32. Should I only count the overnights? The order states the periods begin and end at 6pm so I am interpreting that to mean the last day counts. Is this correct?

A: I would start by being clear on what your Order says and if it begins and ends at 6:00 p.m. then I would count one period of 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as one day and that may be why you are ending up at 32 days instead of 30. I hope this helps.
