All of a sudden he cut my hours and tell me " you have to work a night shift them we can talk about getting your hours back" am the only one he does stuff like that to.. I was due for a promotion and he gave it to someone less quality and not just to spite me. I work every single day am scheduled I missed work twice. Once for the birth of my child and one I took a family vacation, never miss another, I works really hard and this am being treated unfairly just because the manager don't like me.

A: No, your employer is not required to treat you like everyone else, unless he is treating you differently on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, sex, or other such classification.

A: If you feel you have been discriminated against by actions of your supervisors or co-workers at your workplace because of your race, age, gender (including sexual harassment), sexual orientation or national origin, religion or marital status or because you have a disability, or feel you have been retaliated against for speaking out or asserting your legal rights in the workplace, you should contact the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) here in Tallahassee. The FCHR's toll free telephone number is (800) 342 8170; or you can call them at (850) 488 7082. If you do call, ask to speak with an Intake Counsellor. You do not need a lawyer; but retaining one before you file a charge of discrimination will help get through the bureaucracy.
