A: It's not clear but I'm assuming you are speaking of medical benefits or liability?

Each state has different laws regarding combining policy benefits or "stacking." Most policies have "household exclusion" rules to prohibit this though some states--Pennsylvania for instance--has done away with this.

Generally though, there isn't stacking of liability policies for autos. If you have a homeowners iwith an excess or "umbrealla" provision then that umbrella would be avaialble in addition to the coverage on he vehicle.
