Reynoldsburg, OH asked in Contracts for Ohio

Q: How to get out of sales contract when the sales person deliberately waited until there was nothing I could do

I purchased a vehicle back in March and less than 48 hours changed my mind. I texted the sales person and asked about it and he said he would look into it and never did. Day 5 I learn the dealership had a three day worry free return policy and I believe he deliberately killed time until it was too late. Is there any legal recourse I could take

A: If this incident just happed within the last week or so you should immediately stop using the car and return it to the dealer ASAP. You may not be too late to cancel the sale--unless you continue using the car while complaining about not wanting it.

A: It could be difficult to establish that the reason for the delay in getting back to you was deliberately done to use up the time remaining in which you could still return vehicle.
