Columbus, OH asked in Family Law for Ohio

Q: im about to be 15 & i think im pregnant. can my dad legally make me move out of state away from my kids father?

im about to be 15 & i think im pregnant. my dad doesnt know and he wants to move out of state. i dont want to go my kids father has every right to be in his kids life my dad cant take me away from my kids dad can he? i want my kid to have his/her father in their life and my dad is refusing to let me stay. if i move i will have no way of contacting my childs father because my dad took everything from me and im grounded for dumb stuff. i have every right to stay in contact with my kids father and im really debating on running away. this is unfair and im not gonna deal with it.

A: Your dad has every legal right to move, to take you with him, and to tell you that you cannot be in contact with the father. The father has no rights until he establishes paternity.
