Houston, TX asked in Family Law for Texas

Q: If the father temporarily relinquished his possession for 6months to his grandmother does he regain thm back in a year.

I would like to have my daughter back in my home. I would like to be the primary residence as normal. Will I be able to file a petition if my case is set for trial. I’m fighting alone. How can I regain custodian parent. He’s never made payments or attended school activities because of his disability. He’s not tentative & he’s allow his grandmother to have consent to make decision & go over my will . She’s has token me off school records, blocked my number& not allowed the visits regularly.. she filed a restraining order & says she has power to block me away from doctors appointments& school. This all started whn child support was modified & contempt . Things has turned in there favor. Also mentioned my daughter live w/ them since birth..

A: You're going to need an attorney most likely. Contact legal aid in your area or a local law school if you are unable to afford one.
