A: You need to get a divorce lawyer and make sure your divorce lawyer is either experienced in immigration issues or has an immigration attorney on call to help him/her through the landmines. Many divorce lawyers will not want to allege adultery because it is difficult to prove, and because of the short term of your marriage it might not make sense for your divorce lawyer to do so, financially speaking. However if you really would like to maintain your permanent resident status, it will be necessary not to be tempted to take an easy route, especially considering the likely increased costs associated. You need to make sure your divorce lawyer understands the necessity of keeping the record super clear that you were in the marriage for love and not for citizenship, and that you have been the wronged party. So get a very good divorce and immigration lawyer, both. The extra expense will be worth it if you want to stay.

A: You should consult with both a divorce attorney and immigration attorney to discuss your options.
