Brockton, MA asked in Real Estate Law for Massachusetts

Q: Can someone help me get out of a Wyndham timeshare that I signed up for May 24th 2019

After I made this huge error of signing up for this I realized 14 days later I financially cannot afford it, I have called the attorney general, the BBB and had a lawyer send them a letter because they basically told me it's my fault and I'm stuck with it, they refused to speak with my attorney, I'm hoping for some more advise on this, I'm 54 years old, my credit score has dropped 200 points since this started as I have not made one payment, I simply can't afford it and I'm scared as to what will happen, I realize I signed a contract with them but I have tried to ask for help, they are rude and they do not care what happens to me

A: I have some clients in a similar situation. They hired me because I'm a Florida attorney, but Wyndham is doing this same thing with everyone. You may be able dispute the negative credit reporting, but that's something you'll want to discuss with your attorney. If you and your attorney want to chat about it, I'm happy to discuss with you both. It's a tough situation, but there may be some options.
