Q: What headings are used for a legal narrative?

I am looking for a template outline to tell me what areas are included in a narrative.

A: I don't handle nursing home abuse, but in terms of personal injury cases, you could use a number of different formats. What is more important than the particular format is that you include relevant information that outlines the who, what, when, where, and how of an accident. You want to include a summary of injuries. If they are ascertainable, you could include information about damages sought (ER visit, radiology, ambulance, lost wages, etc.). You could include the basis for your seeking damages (such as negligence of another driver or defective product. If you look at some of the basic information contained in notices of claim, the more thorough formats of these include this type of information. Good luck
