Q: Is it illegal to share a direct message conversation from Twitter publicly or another forum?

Are you bound by any confidentiality agreements? Is the information privileged? Trademarked? Security classified?
If its a private conversation between you and the sender then they might have some claim that you breached confidentiality. Not exactly certain what the information is. However, there is a body of law that states people give up their privacy interest in text messages once they are sent.
Be careful that the information you want to share is not proprietary in nature; don't misquote or slander; make sure if you're making comments that you state it as your opinion.
Perhaps let the sender know you're about to share the information and get their reaction and/or approval first.
