A: It depends on the reason for the warrant having been issued. If it was for failure to appear for trial, then it can be recalled by motion filed by your lawyer, and a new trial date scheduled. If the warrant was issued as a result of an original criminal investigation, with an application for an arrest warrant based on probable cause that a judge reviewed and then issued, then you will not be able to recall the warrant by way of motion. You must arrange to turn yourself in on the warrant. Retain a lawyer to address this situation in the best way.
