A: Absent a written waiver of theIr right to a formal account, all beneficiaries entitled to either income and/or principal of an estate are entitled to a formal account prior to distribution.

A: For a trust, a trustee is required to do a full accounting for all beneficiaries. However, this is usually not due until 1 year after date of death. There are other things that can be provided by reasonable request by a beneficiary.
