A: If you agreed to sell your car, and you did sell it to them, and they paid you, then you have a contractual obligation to sign over the title. If you don't, they can sue you. If they didn't pay, then you can sue them. But there is a liability and insurance issue if they are driving it while the registration and plates are still in your name.
