Q: How should I proceed when arrest is result of police retaliation?
Long story short, I was involved in a physical relationship with a cop in 2017. We only met when he was on duty and I quickly ended things upon realizing he was married. He didn't like that I guess and began showing up at a lot of places I was at and looking for a reason to ticket or arrest me I guess. He succeeded one night by illegally detaining me and finding drugs in my pocket. I fought like hell in court but wasn't willing divulge that i was arrested bc I had a homosexual relationship with a cop who can't handle rejection. I got a decent deal considering the charge. Still on unsupervised probation for it until violating last month after being stopped and arrested by his wife who either learned about the affair or was told something by her husband to make her follow me around on and off duty until finally pulling me over based on a lie and arresting me for dwlsr and another drug charge. This is all retaliation stemming from my relationship with her husband. Not sure what to do.
A: First and foremost, contact a local lawyer...the allegations contained in your summary are very disturbing...Contacting FDLE with these allegations is a possibility, as is a complaint through the internal affairs of the agency which employs this officer.
