Q: Can we change our lawyers we was in a accident in June 2019. They have NOT been working for us
The offer they made us will not cover our medical bills we will have to come out of our pockets
A: Yes. You can change lawyers. Who you choose to represent you is 100% your choice.
Tim Akpinar agrees with this answer
A:
You could change lawyers. Before doing so, it could be worth your time to sit down with your current lawyer for fifteen minutes to review your file and find out why the settlement offer is not meeting your expectations. If there are issues in the case that stand in the way of a higher settlement figure, a new lawyer might not necessarily be able to change those things. Good luck
