A: Maryland Case Search contains Maryland's criminal case history on a search by name basis. Some, but not all states have similar services, some on a county by county basis rather that statewide. The federal case access, "Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) [https://www.pacer.gov/] is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information online from federal appellate, district, and bankruptcy courts, and the Case Locator. PACER is provided by the Federal Judiciary in keeping with its commitment to providing public access to court information via a centralized service."
