Q: My son is a US citizen and has autism. Can I apply for the green card because I don’t want him back to my country?
I came in the US with a tourist visa, and my 3 years old son was born in New York. We went back home in Africa but had to take him back because of his autism. There’s no specialized center nor well trained people where I am from. Is there a way to adjust my status because of my son’s concern?
A: Try to find an employer who will sponsor you either for an H1B or even an EB, or you can marry a US citizen. It also depends on what your qualifications or experience is. Speak with a lawyer who can go through all of your options because this is a very broad question. Good luck.
