Q: My aunt was hit by a car and someone posted a video of of her on Snapchat without her consent. Is this illegal in CA?
She was passed out on the ground with life threatening injuries. Can this person be sued for posting this video? Or what legal action can be taken?

A: If the car that hit her was at fault you should talk to a personal injury lawyer right away. do you know who posted the video and why they did it. Sit down with an attorney and discuss all of the above..
A: I agree with the others. Look for a member of CAOC in the county where the incident happened. They give free consultations. The question is should snapchat have accepted it. First deal with the injuries, then deal with the video. Try to capture it /the images before any takedown.
