New Smyrna Beach, FL asked in Criminal Law for Florida

Q: Prior tenant charged with possession/ meth.Says charges were dismissed w/i 24 hours. Bail/arraignment set.

It doesn’t make sense to me. If charges were dismissed the next day, why is she out on bail? And arraignment is 4/28? She no longer lives here. But I know 1st hand she is an addict. She hit every apartment here, hit me twice & once while I was here. I had everyone lock their door.

She needs to go to long term rehab. Her record is extensive. She needs help.

I worried about her children. Her partner was arrested, I believe on the 15t of this month for assault with a deadly weapon, and battery.

A: If you have concerns over the safety of her children call the DCF hotline and call her family...Other than that there is not much you can do...
