Q: In reference to my previous question, due to covid disease i wont be able to reach usa before my visa expiry date so

Will my extended visa fall under the category of suspending green cards according to new temporary rule?

I m having f4 category visa expiring on 20th May, 2020.

A: Hello,

I cannot see your prior posting, but the suspension is for only 60 days.

A: Not sure where you got information that green cards are suspended. That is incorrect. The temporary (60 day) proclamation does not apply to green card holders.

You need to timely file for an extension. Timely is three months in advance of the expiration. Looks like you did not meet that deadline.

Whether the travel difficulty doe to the virus will effect your status depends on facts you have not provided. As an F4 you must have a family member in the USA who can consult with an experienced immigration attorney on your behalf or you may do so by Zoom FaceTime Skype or telephone.
