They admitted to the cops she was an outdoor cat and roamed the neighborhood but she was atacked in her yard! the cat passed away after about 1100 in vet Bills we said we would pay them but they still called the warden and are trying to have the dogs put down. They claim the dogs went I to there own yard and took the car and got a bunch of people to lie! The cat is always in in driveway but i have no proof! We told them if they were sending us to court we were not giving them anything! If they take me to small claims court and criminal court am I liable or can it be thrown out doe to ownership they live in my house but they are in my fiances name... anyone who can help on this issue i have been summoned to criminal court but not yet small claims

A: You're probably liable for the vet bills, and may be liable for the criminal end of things as well. You should reach out to an attorney for a full opinion and representation.
