Q: I've been paying child support for my daughter and she has been living in the same house as me for over 10yrs.
Her mother is a RN now but was a CNA when we met Zuri is my 4th child I have 3 son previous marriage and legal custody of younger 2 boys and provided what ever the oldest needed. when Zuri was 1 we split and cause she didn't like girlfriend at the time she put me on child support. We got back together when Zuri was 3 and I supported her through LVN school was laided off and got unemployment for 1.5 yrs in same house fell behind and lost taxes and some of 401K to catch up. I got new job and was let live in grandparents old house for free and her and my daughter lived in apartment until lease was up then she shows up at grandparent's house with nowhere to go and then starts rn school cause rent free. We move from house to another and from Nov 17 to Feb 19 two weeks before grad she kicked me out cause it's in her name and the whole time I've paid the $1100 month rent and light bill also in her name. Can I get any money back and can the child support be made spilt or something?
A: It is very doubtful that you would ever get your money back. If you child for whom you are paying support, you should go to the Court that entered the child support Order and ask that it be vacated.
