Q: My wife has a restrestraining order, let me stay then throws me out

She got order a few months ago, I left. Then covid came. She got worried and let me stay with her and my son, today she got upset and threw me out. There has been no abuse and not sure if cops were called

A: Get out right away. You could eventually end up in jail for violating the restraining order.

if this only criminal case you have had? any prior violations? record? violence?

you should see a lawyer asap to explain and be prepared to deal with the police if they come....however, it is a violation.

your lawyer will probably explain that to the court... I am hopeful the court would be more understanding during COVID 19.
