Q: Can someone direct me to a bankruptcy attorney for Trenton NJ that does free consultation and also pro bono?

A: Call the NJ Bar Association or the Trenton Legal Aid Society. They both maintain lists of pro bono or reduced fee lawyers.

A: Almost every lawyer gives a free initial consultation. However you get what you pay for. You can get a pro bono attorney but we can not work for free. We have to pay for the office and our student loans. If the attorney is learning how to file a bankruptcy by doing your case it probably wont have the quality of someone who charges for it and has more experience. I know some people will not like this answer but it is true.
