A: An Ohio attorney could answer you best, but your question remains open for a week. As a general rule, insurance runs with the vehicle. Unfortunately, his insurance is likely to be limited to his vehicle. It could be worth looking into whether the incident qualifies under your policy's uninsured coverage - there's no universal answer to tell you on that because these provisions could be policy and circumstance-specific. Good luck

A: It would depend on his/the owner's uninsured/underinsured coverage. It's likely someone's insurance can cover it or make a claim.
