Q: How can we get visitation orders added to the order for child support?

A: You are in Texas, so if the case is in Texas, you need to ask a Texas Attorney. If the case is in California the answer depends on what court you are in for child support. If child support is processed through Child Support Services in California, or the Child Support Services Court, you cannot get visitation orders. You have to file in the "regular" Family Law court to get visitation order. However is is possible that your case is already in the regular Family Law court, in which case you can file a request for visitation there. If you don't have a case in the Family Law court, you need to file one. If you are getting a divorce you would file it in that existing case. If you have a paternity case you would file it in that existing case. If you need help in figuring out where to file I would recommend a consultation.
