Pensacola, FL asked in Traffic Tickets for Florida

Q: How to obtain an FTA release from georgia while living in Florida?

I recieved a ticket in Georgia but failed to appear at court because I became homeless and had to move to Florida. My license was suspended due to this fact. I just paid the ticket fee and the failure to appear fee yesterday but it said to get license reinstated that I needed to obtain a FTA release from the sumter county court in Georgia. Is there any way to do this without travelling to georgia because that is impossible for me to do. Im still homeless living in Florida. I sold my car a while back and have absolutely no way to get to Georgia.

A: I would be surprised if you can't call the Clerk of Court in Georgia and have them send the release; you shouldn't have to physically go there.
