A: Credit for time served can differ from charge to charge. If it’s different, then running it concurrently does not change the difference. The differences can be more pronounced where the charges are unrelated or originate in different countries. A comprehensive plea agreement can sometimes resolve the differences, especially when there is different credit for counts within the same information, or where the accused is held in one county and there is a hold from another county. A”hold” is not an arrest. Best bet here is to talk to your lawyer.
