Cabot, AR asked in Civil Litigation, Small Claims, Personal Injury and Car Accidents for Arkansas

Q: What is Arkansas state law for auto accidents? My husband was rear-ended in my Camry by a Chevy pickup.

He gave a us a false name but the right phone number. We were staying in contact until I called his insurance to confirm he filed the claim. He did not. He is denying the whole thing. There were plenty of businesses around that hopefully caught it on surveillance. My Camry is totaled and my husband was injured.... What do I do? What are the laws in Arkansas bc he drove my car that day bc his was having an Issue. Well, my insurance had lapsed (due to sharing a policy with my mother and she handles) and we're unaware of it. Any I do will help bc I'm afraid I may need a lawyer now

A: There are some additional questions that need to be addressed to respond to your question. I would contact an Arkansas personal injury lawyer to discuss your situation to determine what needs to be done. Our office would be happy to speak with you at your convenience.
