Q: Rights to ask for in court for visitation

I have not seen or heard from my daughter or her mother since April 2017. She completely cut off all contact and accuses me of abuse. I have never hurt my child or ever left a mark on my daughter. I do spank her when needed but give multiple chances for getting that point. She has no proof of abuse because im abusive and she doesn't agree on how to parent in any way. For almost 2 years I have trying texting and calling asking when I can talk to or see my daughter. No response until I filed for visitation. I have court coming up and wanted to know what kind of right to ask for. I dont have a lawyer but have enough evidence to show ive been trying to fight to see my daughter and have taken multiple steps to prove to the mother im fit even without her contacting me. I have stacks of messages over the span of 2 years of trying to get ahold of her. What rights do I have and what right do I not have

A: You have the right to parenting time with your daughter. Unfortunately, because you waited so long to take action, you will have to become reacquainted with your daughter. That means gradually increasing your time with her. If the mother claims abuse, you will have to defend yourself. If that occurs, you may need an attorney.
