Q: If the manager to the property you are renting from has been neglectful in performing her duties what should you do?

from water being turned off 9 times and not communicating i have messages from the asst manager to not filling in a trench behind my home (son & fiance fell)for a yr1/7 90 day notice proposed eviction finally 1/29 talked to the supervisor she said it would get taken care of i was late on January rent (and have phone records the manager would ignore me and not return calls the guy who lives behind me was inches from my face and almost hit me if it wouldn't have been for my fiance i don't feel safe in my home and told her police report was made i had to purchase security cameras)supervisor said to borrow money to make a payment to show good faith made a payment she asked me to make a list i did nobody contacted me early in the week like she said they would heard from her Fri2/5 (i have vm) 2/6/21 30 day notice to vacate 10 days to cure any delinquent amount, how can she give me 90 days then ask for a payment in good faith and then give me 30 days? i have witnesses/messages just need repr

A: Sorry, I can't follow exactly what is happening or what you want to do about it. This doesn't sound like a maintenance issue. Currently, you'll need to be given 30 days notice before an eviction can be filed for non payment of rent. There is rent assistance available in Texas, and if paying rent is the problem, you may want to check that out here.
