Q: I live across a high school baseball field. If I or my family gets hit by a foul ball can I sue the school?

I live in California. Foul balls land on my driveway, patio, at times hit my house.

A: You should talk to the school about a resolution. They might install nets or some other mitigating options. Make sure you document all conversations you have with the school.
