Orlando, FL asked in Child Support for Florida

Q: My ex wife has been asking me for extra money. Since the pandemic I lost my job and earn less. I pay child support fully

All my child support payments by court order are up to date, but she consistently asks for additional money when I in no position to provide any extra money due to my own financial hardship. She threatens me that she will go to court to ask for back pay of aftercare for our children, but never once provided evidence of any aftercare for them. My children are 10 and 11 years old I do not believe they are in any type of child care, but she does not allow me to see them and states I need to figure things out with money it’s not her problem because the kids need clothes. I’m pretty sure child support is supposed to cover this and yes in the past when I earned more income I had no issue covering haircuts and additional clothes I would buy for them not give her money. Now she’s been consistently harassing me for money.

A: She doesn't have a case. What's your question?
