A: A South Carolina or Tennessee attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for two weeks. It could depend on the terms of the policy, and handling of the deductible if there is one. I'm not clear why they want to write the entire amount. In many instances, their property adjuster will coordinate with the collision shop if they need to approve additional work that might not have been identifiable before they started dismantling and replacing parts. A local attorney who could review your policy is really the one who could answer best. Good luck
