A: As long as the donor is of sound mind, the donor should be able to donate his/her interest to whomever he/she wants----since you are discuss a house, which I interpret to mean real property, there are rules on how to donate real property, which if not followed, may nullify the donation----so, I would recommend that you contact an attorney, perhaps a real estate or contracts or succession attorney, to draw up the paperwork for the donation.
