A: Until a person is 18, the person is a minor, and is the responsibility of the person's parents. The parents make the decisions. Having a baby does not change that. After turning 18, the parents no longer have responsibility, and if the parents decide to stop support, the person must arrange for a place to live, get a job, health insurance, car insurance, etc. If she leaves before turning 18, the parents could take action, gain custody of the baby, etc.
