Q: need information on Medicaid/child support and how they are connected in in Mississippi

i am a resident of Louisiana and so was my ex husband me and my ex husband got a divorce due to him cheating it was filed in January and granted in march i was also informed that me ex husband was expecting a new child with the female that he cheated on me with and is in a relationship with they got married on may 15,2021 and then decided to move to mississppi we have been able to come to agreements when it consist of our son till recently our son is on medicaid here in louisiana and now hes wanting to put him on medicaid in mississppi and told me that when he does that the state of mississipps will put me on child support i have always been able to provide for my son when i have him and i know for a fact that my ex husband is more than able to provide for our son and does not need the child support for our son we had agreed at the beginning that we would not put one another on child support and that i was going to be the one to take care of all medical needs for our son i need advice
