A: Hire a Maryland criminal defense lawyer for the Maryland charges, and that lawyer will contact the prosecutor's office to see what their intentions are and whether the process can be speeded up or, potentially, if they are willing to drop the charges altogether and release the detainer. Extradition generally allows 30 days from date of notification fr Maryland to come get her, after which she would be released.

A: If you follow Mr. Oakley's advice and the prosecutor won't drop the charges altogether, maybe they will agree to recall the warrant (or decline extradition) and allow your daughter a certain amount of time to present herself voluntarily as she has retained an attorney. She will make out much better short and long term if she presents herself to the court.
