A: You don't say whether there has been a hearing or not. Normally when you file to terminate guardianship there is a court hearing after the Motion to Terminate is filed and notice is given to the party that is the current guardian. However, if the current guardian has signed their approval to terminate the guardianship and the Judge agrees and has signed the order to terminate the guardianship then you should be able to pick up your child But you need to make sure that is the order he signed . Ask the Judge that signed the Order if you can pick up your child or have an attorney review the order. Good luck!!
