A: You almost certainly have a new affidavit of violation of probation and warrant pertaining to the case in which you are on probation. It is a good thing that you reported. You should hire an attorney to represent you on the new VOP, as well as the new case, and/or get in contact with the local public defender's office to represent you on the new violation of probation. The question of whether you will be reinstated with no jail time depends on your criminal history, the nature of the offense for which you are on probation, the nature of the new offense, and if charges are filed in the new offense.
