Q: Where can I find a great lawyer online licensed in the state of CA?
A: Here on Justia. If you are looking for an immigration lawyer you should try www.AILA.org. You can also try private attorney referrals such as www.avvo.com. Best wishes!

A:
There are several ways. You may research, compare an sélect an adequate legal professional in the needed area of law on Avvo.com.
Another practical method would be calling a local court house and asking for the Attorney Referral Desk to find a professional for your task.
Finally, word of mouth is a great way to find a good attorney.
A: I love this site. Miami. FL asks an immigration question in California's section and gets responses from attorneys in Traverse City, MI (I never heard of that place but they have nice attorneys there) and Wheeling, IL (nice attorneys there, too). Justia lists attorneys, AVVO has referrals, but NOT ALL COURTS HAVE "REFERRAL DESKS" as they apparently do in IL- they don't have them in California. If you want to know if the attorney is good, you need to check their background, and Martindale Hubble has an attorney rating service, but you have to know the name of the attorney first.
A: This sight Find a Lawyer at the top. Ask the lawyer you call about their qualifications.
