Q: Do I have to have 6 months validity on my passport when I go for an immigration visa interview at the embassy?

A: You should have a valid passport as the Embassy requires it. If your passport is invalid or almost about to expire, try to replace it immediately, perhaps using an expedited service at your country's passport office. Good luck.
