Q: Best options for visas to bring partner/father of your child to the US?

I am a US citizen. I would like to bring my partner/father of my child over to the US. Which visa options would be best and would allow him to be able to work as well? And are there options that does not require marriage?

A: Your question is impossible to answer without knowing more about your partner (education, work experience, nationality, etc). You can check out the different visa options on www.uscis.gov to see what he might qualify for. Otherwise, the best option is doing a paid consultation with an experienced immigration attorney. Best wishes!

A: No.

Either you marry the child's father and bring him as a foreign national spouse or you petition for a fiancee visa.

A: There are no provisions in the INA to sponsor a partner. You may bring him to the USA as a fiance. You will have 90 days to get married. Once married he becomes an immediate relative and you may sponsor him.
