A: A Texas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. As a general rule, I do not see SOL waivers granted in lawsuits involving the two categories you mention - personal injury or medical malpractice. Nationwide, it is not common in these high-stakes cases. Only a Texas attorney can meaningfully advise, as statutes of limitations are governed by state law, but if I was advising a client in ANY jurisdiction, I would tell them not to count on waivers or other courtesies in terms of SOLs. I would strongly recommend consulting with a local attorney who could offer more state-specific and case-specific advice after reviewing your file and all its details. Good luck
