A: If and when her case is approved you will be notified and be expected to start submitting the required documents on the CEAC website. You will get detailed instructions about this. In the meantime, it makes sense to start thinking about the affidavit of service, ensuring your tax returns are up to date and so on.

Whether you are using a lawyer or submitting on your own, always remember to have copies of whatever documents are submitted.

Good luck.

A: The approval of the FORM I-130 will be transferred to the National Visa Center (NVC) by USCIS if you have requested on page 8 ( #62 a-c) of the petition that you are requesting consulate processing of the case.

The NVC will then contact you to request filing fees. You can access the CEAC.state.gov website to obtain the list of documents needed to complete the processing of the case with the NVC agency.

Good luck to you.
