Q: Do I still have to pay my rent if my landlord isn’t upholding the lease agreement?
Not supposed to have anyone staying with us, but my roommate does. And the microwave has been broken for months

The short answer is yes, you have to pay rent. Your obligation to pay rent is separate from your landlord's obligation to do repairs, and if you don't pay your rent, you'll get evicted.
