Q: Can I live in a border town in MX while working on a H1B visa in the USA? I would be crossing the border daily

I am a Mexican citizen on a F-1 student visa, seeking to change status to a H1B visa. I am interested in continuing working in the US but due to personal reasons I would like to live in the Mexican side of the border and commute daily to work in the US. I want everything to be legal and to not have any issues when crossing.

A: Hello.. there is no issue with you living in Mexico and working in the USA. the H-1B gives you absolute permission to work in the USA for your employer. There is no mandate that you live here.
