A: A South Carolina attorney could advise best here, but your question remains open for three weeks. In general nationwide, the subrogation attorney for the medical insurance interests do not get involved in liability issues. They basically want their money back for your accident-related treatment. Only your attorney could speak meaningfully about the actual lien amount - but insurance liens are sometimes negotiable, based on their proportion to an award. But it could depend on the carrier. This is something your attorney would have the most insight into. Good luck
